Get nutritious and delicious meals that cater to your dietary needs from CCI HomeCare. We offer weekday hot meal delivery to clients throughout Essex County. Anyone can take advantage of this program, and have meals delivered directly to their home.
How does the program work?
The food is prepared by a caterer, packaged and delivered from our location.
Meal Plan 1: One hot meal per day. This includes a hot entree, bread & butter, dessert and milk. Saturday and Sunday meals are delivered frozen on Friday
Meal Plan 2: Three Meals per day. This includes the hot meal in Plan 1 PLUS a cold box afor a nighttime supper and breakfast the next morning. The cold box includes a sandwich, dessert, cereal, juic and milk.
Our weekday hot meal delivery is provided to clients who are mostly homebound due to illness, physical limitation, advanced age, or inadequate cooking facilities. The meals are delivered usually between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to the client’s home by trained delivery drivers. What We Offer
All our meals are part of a low–fat/low–salt diet. The only change we make to the menu is substituting desserts for our diabetic patients. For example, they may get fresh fruits instead of cookies. To give you an overview of the kinds of meals we provide, here is our latest menu calendar:
